PRAISE AND WORSHIP

Purpose
To be an integrate minister that interprets music with excellence and helps create a connection between

every service; and to be supportive so that the Word of God reaches the hearts of people and their lives
are transformed.

• Regular ACFC Services: Tuesdays @ 7:00 pm, Fridays @ 7:00 pm, Sundays: 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 6:30 pm

Minimum requirements:
a. Be a member of ECFC for at least 6 months.
b. Attend a Three Days of Power Retreat
c. Be Baptized in water
d. Tithe regularly, attend a House of Peace and/or discipleship (our Discipleship counts).
Note: All new people will be tested for two months, faithfully attending practices before starting to
minister, and in that time, there will be another evaluation and it will be at the discretion of the Director
to approve your ability to minister.

Responsibilities of the Praise and Worship Team
• They must show regular attendance and punctuality in all required meetings. If they are going to
minister, they must be present an hour before the service.

• Have good relationships with all members, and a spirit of teamwork; they must value honesty and
integrity, and understand the importance of being under authority. They must always try to give the
best of themselves, without judging or criticizing others.

• They must be teachable people who seek to grow spiritually and technically. Accepting the corrections
and suggestions that come from their authorities.

• It is important to take care of our appearance and be well dressed, according to the color of the week.

• Women: Always use proper sized clothes, wearing tailored suits (slacks and blazer) on Sundays
preferably with close toed shoes. On Tuesday and Friday services they must wear semi-formal (casual)
blouses with sleeves.

• We have a policy of not wearing: Jeans, T-shirts, tennis shoes, leggings or tights, see through clothing,
no skirts above the knee. In other words, dress in a decent way representing God, our Pastors and
church.

• Men: Dress pants, long-sleeved shirt and ties on Sundays, the coat is optional but we prefer they wear
it. They need to dress semi-formal on Tuesdays and Fridays. We have a policy of not wearing: Jeans, T-
shirts, polo shirts, tennis or sports shoes, unless we allow it otherwise for a special activity.

• Be willing to learn new songs and be diligent to practice on your own time and thus make practices the
most effective because everyone has learned their parts (Voices, musicians, etc.)

• We must have a folder where we can file song lyrics, notes and the schedule to always be aware of
what we are singing, playing and when we must serve.

• We must be people of prayer who read the Bible and practice what we learn in discipleship, services,
preachings etc. Also, we should keep our leaders informed about what we do.

• We need to be an example on how to behave in and out of the church. We must pay attention to the
preaching’s and stay connected with the Pastor and the movement in each service.

• We have to be available and make the activities in the Praise & Worship Ministry a priority. If someone
is serving in another ministry, then this will be personally evaluated so that it does not interfere in any
activity that is being required.

• Receive the course, Integration in the Ministry.
